STATESBORO, Ga. - The Oklahoma men's golf squad returns to the links on March 20-22, at the Schenkel E-Z-GO Invitational in Statesboro, Ga.  The 54-hole event (18 holes each day) features 11 teams ranked in the latest Golfweek top-50, including four squads in the latest top 25.

The event will be a strong test for the Sooners as four squads in the field advanced to last year's NCAA Championships (Auburn, Augusta State, Florida and Virginia), while Georgia State and North Florida won its respective conference championships in 2008.

The 18 teams will compete at the par-72, 6,962-yard Forest Heights Country Club.

First-round tee times for OU commence at 8:45 a.m. (CT), as Chris Wilson opens the event for the Sooners, who start on the front nine.  Oklahoma is playing with Iowa and Vanderbilt in Friday's opening round.

Ben Blundell, Liam Logan, Riley Pumphrey and Ryan Sirman round out the OU competitors.

Sirman is coming off of a team-best 25th-place result in OU's last event at the Fresno State Lexus Classic on March 10.

Georgia Southern, Iowa, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Tennessee and Vanderbilt complete the field.

South Carolina's George Bryan IV returns to defend his medalist title from a year ago (-8), while 2008 winner Alabama (-15) is not in the field.

Live scoring of the 54-hole event is available at www.golfstat.com.
