NORMAN, Okla. - Junior Haley Anderson was 3-for-3 with a home run and drove in three runs as the University of Oklahoma softball team closed out fall play Tuesday night with an 11-0 win over North Central Texas State. Freshman Jessica Shults went 2-for-4 with a single and double and scored two runs.
Junior Chana'e Jones went 1-for-3 with a double and a walk for OU. Sophomore Karolyne Long plated one run on a triple. Senior Lindsey Vandever went 2-for-4, scoring a run and driving in another. Freshman Keilani Ricketts also had a multiple hit appearance with a 2-for-3 showing. Ricketts plated one run and also drove in another.
Sophomore Katie Norris was 2-for-4, also scoring and driving in one run. Sophomore Krystle Huey recorded two RBI on a 2-for-3 night.
As a team, Oklahoma pounded out 16 hits, scoring 11 runs in a full seven innings. Freshman pitcher Michelle Gascoigne picked up the win in the circle. Sophomore Kirsten Allen and Ricketts both saw time in the circle, as well.
