NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma softball team continues to improve its already top-notch facilities. Currently under construction along the right-field line at the OU Softball Complex-Marita Hynes Field is a 6,020 square-foot indoor facility.

The $1 million project is scheduled for completion prior to the 2009 season will include a 65' x 65' infield with Hilltopper infield dirt. The infield will also accommodate four hitting lanes. In addition to the practice area, storage for the team and grounds crew is also included.
