NORMAN, Okla. -- As a bonus to OU softball fans, SoonerSports.com will provide a weekly glimpse of several Sooners playing in the National Pro Fastpitch League this summer.
 
Today's installment takes a look at the players' performance as they enter the last two weeks of play.

Savannah Long was a key part in keeping the Philadelphia Force in the mix for a first-place finish against the Washington Glory this past week.

Long kept up her run production, recording two more runs and one RBI. While adding several key hits against the Glory, Long upped her RBI total to 16, which ranks third on the team.

Erin Evans (Rockford Thunder) also kept her offensive output in the positive with a batting average of .329 while putting up 23 hits, ranking first and third respectively. Evans also drove in seven runs and now leads the Thunder with 16 runs recorded.

Evans and the Thunder battle Long and the Force in a four-game series starting August 8. 

Norrelle Dickson and Susan Ogden, both of the Akron Racers stayed in fourth place after a key series with Chicago. The win keeps the Racers' playoff hopes alive. Dickson added two stolen bases to her team leading total of 12. Since the last update, Ogden added several hits and two RBIs to her season total.

Dickson, Ogden and the Racers being a key series at Washington starting August 8.
