NORMAN, Okla. -- As a bonus to OU softball fans, SoonerSports.com will provide a weekly glimpse of several Sooners playing in the National Pro Fastpitch League this summer.
Today's installment takes a look at the players' performance since our last update.
Going into a series with the Chicago Bandits, Savannah Long was picking up steam with her play and helping the Philadelphia Force into first place but after going 2-3 in the series with the Bandits, Philadelphia is now in second place behind Washington.
Long did her part in trying to help her team stay in first, blasting a three-run home run Friday to lead the Force to a win and upping her stats to 12 hits, nine RBIs and three home runs.
Long and the Force look to get back to first place with a four-game series at home with Chicago that started on Monday.

After a 2-2 series with New England, Susan Ogden, Norelle Dickson and the Akron Racers are still on the .500 mark for the season. Ogden added to her stats for the year increasing her RBI total to nine, while Dickson has 16 hits, eight runs, two RBIs and is tied for the lead on the Racers with eight stolen bases.
The Racers will battle the USA National Team tonight in front of an already sold out crowd on the Racers home field.
Check back throughout the summer for an updated look at the Sooner in the professional ranks.
