NORMAN, Okla. -- As a bonus to OU softball fans, SoonerSports.com will provide a weekly glimpse of several Sooners playing in the National Pro Fastpitch League this summer.
 
Today's installment takes a look at the players' performance since our last update. Check back throughout the summer for an updated look at the Sooner in the professional ranks.

One Sooner who has improved her mark this week is Savannah Long as she and the first-place Philadelphia Force look to extend their two-game lead over the Washington Glory.

Since last week, Long has recorded three hits, one more run and two RBIs, boosting her average to .278.

Norrelle Dickson and Susan Ogden kept their offensive fury going last week in a four-game series between the Akron Racers and the Canadian National Team.

Dickson, last season's NPF batting champion, raised her batting average to .423 this week after going 6-for-13 in the four-game swing. She also kept her on-base percentage at .500.

Ogden went 2-for-10 and kept her batting average hovering around the .231 mark. For the season, Ogden has hit two home runs and has three RBI.

Dickson and Ogden are now look to build on their numbers against the Force in a series starting July 2.

Finally this week, the Rockford Thunder kept their record at .500. Erin Evans' average now stands at .290 as the Thunder head into a series with Long and the Force starting July 9.
