IRVINE, Calif. --  University of Oklahoma jumpers Shardae Boutte, Tydree Lewis and Toni Smith came away with two titles at the Steve Scott Invitational in Irvine, Calif., on Sunday.  Competing in both the long and triple jump, the trio posted five NCAA Regional qualifying marks.

Smith turned in a regional qualifying performance in the long jump to take the event's crown. Smith's jump of 20 feet and 3.50 inches (6.18 meters) gave the senior her third event title of the season.

Smith also finished second in the triple jump with a long jump of 43-1.75 (13.15), the longest of any collegiate competitor behind Yvette Lewis (44-4.75/13.53), who was competing unattached.

Lewis continued his recent hot streak in the triple jump by winning the event Sunday with a jump of 52-8.25 (16.06).  Boutte's NCAA regional qualifying jump of 52-4.50 (15.96) was good for second place.  Lewis' jump came one week after the senior leapt a personal-best distance of 52-9.25 (16.08) at the Sooner Invitational.

Boutte finished sixth in the men's long jump with a regional qualifying mark of 24-4.25 (7.42).

PALO ALTO, Calif. --  Jessica Eldridge recorded an NCAA Regional qualifying mark in the women's 1,500-meter run to highlight Oklahoma action Sunday at the Payton Jordan Invitational on the campus of Stanford University.

Eldridge finished third in the second section of the 1,500-meter run with a regional qualifying time of 4:20.56.  The time was just a second-and-a-half slower than the three-time All-American's season-best time of 4:19.06 run on the same track on April 6.

Kristi Cook took fourth in the third section of the women's 800-meter run with a time of 2:12.26.  Catherine Odell was seventh in the event with a time of 2:14.05.

Regular-season action comes to a close Saturday with the Sooner Twilight in Norman.  The 2008 Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be held one week later, May 16-18, in Boulder, Colo.
