NORMAN, Okla. – The University of Oklahoma softball team hosts the annual Fall Festival this weekend, Friday-Sunday, Oct. 3-5 at the OU Softball Complex. Admission is $4 for general admission and $3 for senior citizens. OU students with student ID and children under three are admitted free.

Limited concessions are available and the Diamond Club will have apparel for sale at all fall events. All proceeds from the tickets, concessions and merchandise go to the Diamond Club, which supports the softball program.

St. Gregory's faces Rose State in the opening game of the tournament Friday at 11:15 a.m. Murray State then takes on St. Gregory's in the final game of the first session at 1:30 p.m. The Sooners begin action Friday afternoon against Rose State at 3:45 p.m. and St. Gregory's at 6 p.m.

Murray State and Rose State open Saturday competition at 11:15 a.m. with Oklahoma taking on St. Gregory's at 1:30 p.m. Following the round robin play, the top seed faces the fourth seed at 3:45 p.m. with the second and third seeds facing off at 6 p.m.

The losers of both contest advance to a consolation game on Sunday morning at 11 a.m., while the winners meet for the tournament championship at 1:15 p.m.

OU's final game of the fall season is slated for Wednesday, Oct. 15 against North Central Texas at 5 p.m. In addition to all scheduled games, the squad will hold an intrasquad scrimmage on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 3:30 p.m. All OU softball practices are open to the public
