Softball Season Tickets On Sale

NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma Athletics Ticket Office has announced that softball season tickets and special ticket packages are now on sale.

Season tickets may be purchased online at SoonerSports.com or by calling the OU Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-456-GoOU. The OU Athletics Ticket Office is open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and is located on the plaza level of the Asp Avenue parking garage.

The Sooners, ranked No. 5 in the NFCA Preseason Poll, will host 22 games at OU Softball Complex this season, which includes two tournaments. Oklahoma opens its home season on Tuesday, Feb. 12 against St. Gregory's at 3:30 p.m.

In addition, OU will also host Tulsa, North Texas, Memphis, McNeese, Drake, Wichita State and Central Arkansas in non-conference action.

In Big 12 play, the Sooners will welcome Kansas (March 21-22), Missouri (April 5-6), Texas Tech (April 10 doubleheader), Oklahoma State (April 23) and Texas (April 26-27) to Marita Hynes Field.

The Longhorns and Tigers were recently ranked No. 22 and No. 25, respectively, in the NFCA Preseason Poll. Season tickets are $100 for reserved seating and $70 for general admission.

In addition to season tickets, the ticket office will also be selling Boomer and Sooner Ticket Packages. Each package includes a general admission ticket for 11 select OU home games and costs $40. Call the ticket office for more information.

Single game tickets will go on sale in mid-February while group single game tickets are $3 each for 10-99 people and $2 each for 100 or more and are available now.
