NORMAN, Okla.- Former Sooner Norrelle Dickson's Akron Racers struggled in their four-game series against the Philadelphia Force, Aug. 1-4. Although the team came up short, Dickson shined as she continued to lead the team at the plate.

Dickson and the Racers opened the series with a 5-0 loss on Wednesday as they struggled to get the bats rolling. Dickson went 1-for-3 at the plate and was one of only two Racers to put the bat on the ball.

In the second game of the series the Racers continued to struggle on the offensive side as they dropped a 3-1 decision to Philadelphia. Dickson once again went 1-for-3 at the plate.
