Softball Concludes Fall Wednesday

NORMAN, Okla. - The Oklahoma softball team will conclude its fall season Wednesday night as it hosts Connors State College at 5 p.m. at the OU Softball Complex. The contest will be 12 innings with a short break in between the sixth and seventh frames.

The Sooners will be aiming to keep their fall record perfect as they currently own a 9-0 mark this fall.

The fall schedule does not count towards the squad's record in the spring, but provides an opportunity for the players to compete against other teams while allowing the fans a glimpse of the 2008 squad.

The Sooners welcome back 13 members, including seven starters, from a 2007 squad that produced one of the best records in school history (55-8) while claiming a Big 12 Championship and advancing to an NCAA Super Regional.
