Baseball Spotlight: Trey Sperring

NORMAN, Okla. -- In preparation for the 2008 baseball season, SoonerSports.com features the sixth installment in the 2008 Newcomer Video Spotlights, featuring junior third baseman Trey Sperring.

SoonerSports.com will continue to help fans get to know the 2008 newcomers in each week throughout the remainder of the year. 

Each spotlight will include an updated bio, Q&A session and a series of videos featuring a scouting report from OU head coach Sunny Golloway.

Sperring and the Sooners are currently in their first week of fall team practices and have completed two intrasquad scrimmages earlier this week. 

OU will scrimmage twice this weekend, starting on Saturday at noon and continuing Sunday at 1 p.m.  All intrasquad scrimmages are free and open to the public at L. Dale Mitchell Park.
