NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma baseball team began team practices on Oct. 4, and will hold its first intrasquad scrimmage on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 2:30 p.m. The scrimmage is free and open to the public at L. Dale Mitchell Park.
In preparation for the 2008 season, SoonerSports.com will feature one of the Sooners' newcomers each week throughout the remainder of the year.
Each spotlight will include an updated bio, Q&A session and a series of videos featuring a scouting report from OU head coach Sunny Golloway.
The fifth installment focuses on sophomore infielder Spencer Selby. The Edmond, Okla. native played at Edmond Sante Fe before lettering one year at Southern Nazarene University.
