NORMAN, Okla. -- As the OU baseball team continues individual practices, Soonersports.com will feature one of the Sooners' newcomers each week throughout the remainder of the year. Oklahoma will begin team practices for the fall on Oct. 10.
Each spotlight will include an updated bio, Q&A session and a series of videos featuring a scouting report from OU head coach Sunny Golloway.
The second week's installment focuses on freshman outfielder Casey Johnson. The freshman hit .618 with 17 doubles, five homers and 23 RBIs en route to first team all- state honors as a senior at Mesquite High School.
