Softball in Action at Fall Festival

NORMAN, Okla. The Oklahoma softball team will host its annual Fall Festival this weekend (Sept. 29-Oct.1) at the OU Softball Complex. The Sooners will play five games beginning with a doubleheader on Friday and Saturday and finish the Fall Festival with one game on Sunday.

OU will match up against Northern (6:15 p.m.) and Southwestern (8:30 p.m.) on Friday night. In Saturday's action OU will face Washburn at 3:45 p.m. and Texas Women's University at 6 p.m.

The Sooners will round out tournament action with a contest against Pittsburg State at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

Fall Schedule | 2007 Roster

While none of the games will count towards the regular-season record in the spring, it is a great opportunity for OU fans to get an early glimpse of the 2007 version of the OU squad.

Admission to the games will be $4 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens.

This year's Sooner squad will feature four newcomers and 15 returnees from a 2006 team that produced a 40-21-1 overall mark and advanced to the NCAA Regional 9 Championships.
