Rain Cancels Fall Invitational

NORMAN, Okla. The Oklahoma softball team was scheduled to round out tournament action and the fall season with a doubleheader on Sunday, but heavy rains in the area have cancelled the event.  No makeup dates will be scheduled.

OU was set to square off at 2:30 p.m. with Eastern, with that game followed by a match up with Murray State at 4:45 p.m.

Through the fall season the Sooners posted a perfect 7-0 record.  This year's Sooner squad will feature four newcomers and 15 returnees from a 2006 team that produced a 40-21-1 overall mark and advanced to the NCAA Regional 9 Championships.
