Softball Preseason Banquet on Jan. 28

NORMAN, Okla. -- The Oklahoma softball team and head coach Patty Gasso will host their annual "Meet The Team" preseason banquet on the evening of Friday, Jan. 28.  The festivities will be held at the Kerr McGee Courtside Club (adjacent to the Lloyd Noble Center) and are scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.

Following a casual dinner, Gasso will kick off the banquet with a season preview.  Players from each class will take the stage after Gasso and pass along a personal message to the Sooner fans. 

For the second consecutive season Clark Stroud (OU Vice President of Student Affairs) and his performance group the Bologna Rodeo will cap the evening with some comedic improv.

The event is open to the public, who are urged to RSVP to Shelly Harmon in the OU Softball Offices by Jan. 21.  Harmon can be reached with confirmations or inquiries at (405) 325-8361.  Tickets are $20.
