HOUSTON The Oklahoma Sooners (10-0) squeaked by the Nicholls State Colonels, 1-0, to keep their fall winning streak alive on Saturday morning at the Spring Klein Classic in Houston, Texas.

Jessica Leslie came off the bench to start the scoring action for the Sooners with her first at-bat of the tournament in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Leslie singled up the middle to get on base. Amber Spaulding pinch ran for Leslie and cycled around the bases for Oklahoma's only score.

Pitcher Kami Keiter was outstanding for the Sooners once again in a defensive battle, allowing only three hits.  Keiter, who was recently named to the USA Elite Team, tossed a complete game shutout and is yet to allow a run in 20-plus innings this fall.

Keiter delivered clutch performance in the first and seventh innings. In the first, Keiter forced two outs on back-to-back hitters with runners in scoring position. Keiter then struck out the final batter of the game with a runner on third.

The Sooners, who have not lost a fall game since 2002, continue tournament action today at 1 p.m. Oklahoma will play UT-San Antonio.
