Fullerton, Calif. - A sacrifice fly by Leah Gulla deep in the sixth inning allowed Erin Evans to score the lone run of the game and No. 6 Oklahoma dismissed Louisiana-Lafayette, 1-0, at the Kia Klassic Friday night.

The Sooners (24-3) won their 17th consecutive game and advanced to face Fresno State in the second round of the single-elimination tournament in Fullerton, Calif.

Kami Keiter picked up the win on the mound to improve to 14-1 on the season. Keiter struck out 12 batters and the Sooner defense clamped down on the Cajuns to preserve the shutout.

Senior Erin Evans produced OU's lone hit of the night with a single to left field in the sixth to jumpstart Oklahoma. Evans stole second and then advanced to third on a pass ball. Gulla's blast to left field brought her home for the 1-0 score.
