Columbus, Ga. - OU was able to wrap up its rain-delayed game with Villanova Saturday morning but that would be all the weather allowed at the NFCA Classic in Columbus, Ga. The Sooners were prepared to play Cal-State Fullerton at 7 p.m. but the Titans didn't finish their game with LSU until 9 p.m.

Once those teams concluded their game, a 7-6 Fullerton comeback, OU began warming up to take the field.

As if on cue, the clouds opened up and sent both teams scurrying to the dugouts. Officials finally decided to postpone the contest until 9 a.m. Sunday morning. OU and LSU are still scheduled to play on Sunday but the game time had not been determined at the time of this release.

The Sooners (6-2) have not been able to complete a scheduled tournament this season due to the change-ups delivered by Mother Nature. The GRU Tournament in Gainesville, Fla., was shortened due to rain and the OU/Nike Classic in Norman last weekend was abbreviated by freezing winds.

On their return from the NFCA Classic, Oklahoma is next scheduled to host Oklahoma City on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 4 p.m. at the OU Softball Complex in Norman.
