Norman, Okla. - Four Oklahoma softball players headlined the 2003 GRU All-Tournament team announced by the University of Florida Monday afternoon.

Senior shortstop Kelli Braitsch (Broken Arrow, Okla.), senior third baseman Leah Gulla (Huntington Beach, Calif.), sophomore first baseman Christina Enea (Woodland Hills, Calif.) and sophomore pitcher Kami Keiter (Arvada, Colo.) were honored for their performances in Gainesville.

Oklahoma went 3-1 in the tournament and placed the greatest number of players on the All-Tournament team with four. Tournament host Florida placed three players on the list with two from South Florida and one from UIC.

Kelli Braitsch resumed her leadership role for the Sooners during the four-game GRU Tournament. The senior from Broken Arrow, Okla., batted .231 with three hits, a double, a home run and two RBI. Braitsch scored three runs. Defensively, she contributed six putouts and five assists at shortstop.

Braitsch also became Oklahoma's career total bases leader with seven in the tournament to take her total to 356. She overtook former Sooner great Lisa Carey (1998-2001) who had 350 total bases over her career.

Leah Gulla tied with Christina Enea for the highest batting average over the tournament with .417. Gulla had five hits and three RBI. She also had nine putouts and five assists.

Sophomore Christina Enea also batted .417 and had five hits including a double and four RBI. Enea led the team with 28 putouts and three assists from first base. Down 5-4, Enea's double in the seventh inning against USF gave Oklahoma a chance to overtake the Bulls. OU was unable to overcome the early deficit, eventually falling, 5-4, but Enea came through when her name was called.

OU lefty Kami Keiter enjoyed an outstanding tournament on the mound for the Sooners. The sophomore recorded three wins with a 0.82 ERA. Over 17 innings, Keiter allowed just 12 hits and struck out 13 batters. She issued nine walks.

Keiter also provided a spark for the Sooners at the plate. She batted .250 with two hits and scored a run. With the Sooners behind USF, 5-2, Keiter's timely single to center field while pinch hitting for Tiffany Weight in the seventh inning was clutch.

No. 8 Oklahoma returned to Norman with a 3-1 record and is set to host the OU/Nike Classic on Feb. 14-16.
