WPSL Team To Take On Oklahoma All-Stars

NORMAN, Okla. - While the Women's Professional Softball League (WPSL) prepares to re-launch in 2003, the teamsmith Nationals will play a group of Oklahoma All-Stars in an exhibition game at the OU Softball Complex on Wednesday, June 12.

The game, which will start at 7 p.m., will feature 1996 Olymipic Gold Medalists Julie Smith and Kim Maher, WPSL Most Valuable Player Patti Benedict, All-Stars Moni Armendarez, Carla Brookbank, Julie Crandall, Amy Kyler, Kellyn Tate and other elite local players. The cost for admission to the event is $5.

An autograph session will be held following the contest as merchandise and vendors will also be available for the fans. For further information regarding this event, please call teamsmith at (212) 479-0868.
