WPSL Team To Take On Oklahoma All-Stars

NORMAN, Okla. - While the Women's Professional Softball League (WPSL) prepares to re-launch in 2003, the teamsmith Nationals will play a group of Oklahoma All-Stars in an exhibition game at the OU Softball Complex on Wednesday, June 12.

The game, which will start at 7 p.m., will feature 1996 Olymipic Gold Medalists Julie Smith and Kim Maher, WPSL Most Valuable Player Patti Benedict, All-Stars Moni Armendarez, Carla Brookbank, Julie Crandall, Amy Kyler, Kellyn Tate and other elite local players. The cost for admission to the event is $5.
