  • Arizona State added to its record of wins in a single season with its 45th today. Meanwhile, the Wolverines saw their 16-game winning streak snapped.

  • Wolverines' senior pitcher Marissa Young had her nine-game winning streak stopped. In three meetings with the Sun Devils this year, Young is 1-1 with an earned run average of 1.00.

  • Arizona State sophomore outfielder Kristin Farber extended her hitting streak to 14 games, the longest for any Sun Devil this season. Farber, who leads the team with 20 stolen bases, has swiped a bag in all five of ASU's postseason games this year.

  • ASU senior pitcher Erica Beach extended her single-season record win total at Arizona State to 32.

  • Michigan's two hits marked a season low.

  • Michigan's Kelsey Kollen had her team-best eight-game hitting streak snapped tonight with her 0-for-2 performance. She hit .448 (13-for-29) during the eight-game streak.

  • Both the Wolverines and the Sun Devils are now 14-6 in one-run games this year.
