Oklahoma Head Coach Patty Gasso
On Jennifer Stewart:
"I thought Jennifer Stewart was definitely on her game. She plays like a champion when it's time to step up, she was definitely here today. I could throw her today and I could throw her tomorrow and I could throw her Sunday until she runs out of gas, which won't happen. She has been in these types of situations and she wants the ball."

On the game:
"I thought the first couple of innings we had great opportunities and had some bad luck. We had things happening for us but six hits and only one run made me feel like I was holding my breath for the first four or five innings. It seemed like we relaxed and got things going and we did a good job staying off some bad pitches. The decision was that we were really going to try to blow the game open later in the game like we should have earlier, and get the momentum going.

Oklahoma Pitcher Jennifer Stewart
On getting the start:
"I don't really think it matters who we face. Yeah, we'd love to face Cat (Osterman) and Texas again. Whoever we face we're going to have to go out and get our job done, take one game at a time until we get to Sunday. I think we're going to come out on fire and bust the gates open."

Oklahoma Catcher Heather Scaglione
On Jennifer Stewart's performance:
"There was no stopping her today. She was hitting the corners and keeping the batters guessing. She did an awesome job today, just like always."

Texas A&M Head Coach Jo Evans
On the game:
"Obviously we're disappointed in not being able to beat Oklahoma. I thought our team played great defense. We had looked forward to playing them again because the two prior times we played them we didn't feel like we played well. Today, our pitching wasn't where it needed to be. OU's a team that's been here before so I give them a lot of credit for the outcome."

On OU pitcher Jennifer Stewart:
"She just knows how to win and finds ways to do it. She manages to keep hitters off-balance and she got some great plays from her defense."

On Texas A&M pitcher Jessica Slataper:
"I felt like she was throwing the ball very well and they weren't hitting very well. But if you don't throw strikes, you're going to get yourself into a lot of trouble. She was struggling to find the strike zone."

Texas A&M Catcher Selena Collins
On if Texas A&M was pressing:
"I don't feel that we were pressing. I felt like we went out and got our cuts in there. We just didn't get that timely hitting we needed that OU got. Sometimes that's what it comes down to. I thought we put hits together and we felt comfortable out there so I don't think we were pressing. They just played well."

On Texas A&M pitcher Jessica Slataper:
"I think she was just trying to find her pitch and what was working for her. I just told her to drive the ball at me and to take her time. It's just difficult sometimes when you don't know where your strike zone is."
