Game Recap
Nebraska's Peaches James was the star of the game as the Huskers knocked off Oklahoma State in Big 12 Softball Tournament action Friday afternoon. James pitched a complete-game shutout, giving up up just two hits and a walk while striking out four to improve to 19-7 on the year. On offense, the sophomore looped a two-run single to right in the bottom of the sixth inning to account for the game's only scoring. OSU senior Lauren Bay also pitched well, allowing just three hits and striking out eight in six innings of work. She fell to 19-14 on the season. The Huskers, the tournament's No. 3 seed, upped their record to 43-11 and will play seventh-seeded Kansas tonight at 7:30. No. 6 seed OSU dropped to 29-22 and will play Baylor today at 3:30 p.m.

Nebraska Head Coach Rhonda Revelle
On the win:
"I thought that was a great softball game. Obviously it's nice to be on this end of it but I thought it was well-played by both teams. We had to earn our runs and they had to earn their base runners. There just wasn't very much given. I also thought it was a great pitchers' duel. This is the kind of play that you expect at this time of year."

On the next game against Kansas:
"Kansas is playing with a lot of inspiration right now. You can't say enough for having eight seniors on their staff. They had a big win over Oklahoma that was really on Oklahoma's turf. They're playing as well as anyone right now."

Oklahoma State Head Coach Margaret Rebenar
Overall thoughts on the game:
"Well, unfortunately we didn't get the key hits when we needed them, and they did and there you have it."

On how to bounce back:
"Well, we have no choice, we have got to come back or it is all over. That is incentive enough to hopefully let this go, and get back after our next opponent."
