OU Alters Schedule for Worth Softball Tournament

Norman, Okla. - With the threat of wet weather later in the week, Oklahoma has altered the schedule for the OU Worth Invitational. The event was to begin Friday but has been moved forward one day to start on Thursday.

The Sooners will play twice Thursday. At 3 p.m., OU plays Wichita State before returning to the field to play A&M-Corpus Christi at 5 p.m. Wichita State and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi will then square off at 7 p.m.

On Friday, OU plays Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 3:30 p.m. and Wichita State at 5:45 p.m. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi plays Creighton at 11 a.m. and Wichita State and Creighton meet at 1:15 p.m.

Oklahoma plays just once Saturday in a 3:30 p.m. contest against Creighton. Wichita State takes on Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 1:15 p.m. The Shockers also play Creighton at 1:15 p.m.

Action in the tournament concludes Sunday. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi plays Creighton at 12:15 p.m. while OU and Creighton meet at 2:30 p.m.
