NORMAN, Okla. - Due to the threat of cold temperatures tomorrow night, the softball doubleheader between No. 9 Oklahoma and No. 4 Nebraska has been bumped up to begin at 3 p.m. Regularly scheduled for 5 and 7 p.m. start times, the second game of the twinbill is set to start at approximately 5 p.m. or shortly after the conclusion of the first game in the event that the first contest runs long. The special game promotions that will be featured during the contests will include $.50 hot dogs/Cokes, Softball Bingo and the TP&P Fan of the Game.

The Sooners and the Cornhuskers face off in a battle of last year's conference tournament champs and regular season champs, respectively. Although Nebraska owns a slim 31-27 lead in the all-time series, Oklahoma holds the upper hand over the last 10 meetings with a 6-4 mark. OU defeated NU, 10-2, in their last meeting in the semifinals of the Big 12 Conference Tournament last year. The Sooners will be putting their 42-game home winning streak at the OU Softball Complex on the line as they will also be playing in their 100th game at the complex in the first game of the doubleheader.
