Softball Cancels Tuesday Game Against Oklahoma City

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma softball game against Oklahoma City that was originally scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 27, has been cancelled and will be made up at a later date. The teams agreed to the cancellation because both will be honored that evening at the Oklahoma Headliner of the Year Banquet that evening in Oklahoma City for winning national championships in their respective divisions.

A new time and date will be released when it is confirmed.

The third-ranked Sooners continue their season this weekend at the NFCA Leadoff Classic in Columbus, Ga. They open against No. 6 Oregon State on Friday at noon and follow up against San Diego State at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, OU faces No. 19 South Carolina at 12:30 p.m.
