No. 5 OU Softball to Face No. 8 Louisiana State

NORMAN, Okla. -- - The University of Oklahoma softball squad hosts eighth-ranked Louisiana State on Friday at 6:30 p.m. at the OU Softball Complex in the OU/Worth Invitational. This is one of most highly-ranked teams OU has ever played on their home field. The Sooners own a 25-2 record on the year, while LSU is 16-4.

Tournament play begins Friday at 11 a.m. when Wichita State plays Texas-San Antonio. The tournament field also includes Colorado State and No. 12 Southern Mississippi. Games begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday and at 10 a.m. on Sunday.

Oklahoma faces Texas-San Antonio at 4 p.m. and Colorado State at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. On Sunday, the Sooner play Wichita State at 5:30 p.m. and twelfth-ranked Southern Mississippi at 5:30 p.m. in the last game of the tournament. The game with Southern Mississippi will be radio broadcast on KNOR 1400 and KOKC 1490 AM.
