Cowgirls Host Roadrunners

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's 17th-ranked softball team will host the Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners in a doubleheader Tuesday afternoon. Game time is set for 1 p.m. at Little Couch Park.

The Cowgirls are 21-9 this season and coming off a 4-3 record at the Speedline Invitatonal Tournament this weekend in Tampa, Fla. OSU defeated Ball State, Temple, Tennessee Tech and Connecticut, while losing to Georgia, No. 14 Iowa and Virginia Tech.

UTSA is 10-13-1 this season after a rugged weekend in the OU/Worth Invitational in Norman. The Roadrunners went 1-4 in the tourney, picking up a win vs. Colorado State. UTSA lost to No. 12 Southern Mississippi, Wichita State, fifth-ranked Oklahoma and No. 8 LSU.

This weekend, the Cowgirls will host the annual Cowgirl Classic, featuring teams from Creighton, Southwest Missouri State, Tulsa and Wichita State. Games begin at 9 a.m. on both Friday and Saturday.
