Softball Team to Host OU Fall Classic Tournament

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma softball team will host the OU Fall Classic Tournament this Friday and Saturday at the OU Softball Complex in Norman. The Sooners will play two games Friday. The first game starts at 5:30 p.m. against Oklahoma Christian and the second game versus Tulsa is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.
OU continues tournament action with two more games on Saturday. Oklahoma's first game is at 12:30 p.m. against Connors College and its second game will begin at 5:30 p.m. versus Northern Oklahoma.
The OU Fall Classic will begin at 10 a.m. Friday with Northern Oklahoma battling Connors College. Saturday's play also begins at 10 a.m. with Tulsa facing Connors.
The Sooners are the defending Big 12 Champions after posting an 11-3 record in conference play in 1999. OU finished the season ranked 23rd in the nation with a 40-16 overall record.
