Softball Team to Participate in OU Fall Festival

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma softball team will be participating in the OU Fall Festival this Friday through Sunday in Jenks at the Jenks Rodeo Grounds. The Sooners open the three-day, five-team tournament on Friday at 8 p.m. against Northern Oklahoma.

The five teams playing in the tournament are Oklahoma, Southwest Missouri State, Northern Oklahoma, Eastern Oklahoma A&M and Southeastern State.

OU will play two games on Saturday at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. against Southeastern State and Eastern Oklahoma A&M, respectively. Sunday's games are scheduled for 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sunday's matchups will be announced after Saturday's games.

The Sooner softball program will hold a youth camp on Saturday between 3 and 5 p.m. at the Jenks Rodeo Grounds. The camp is open to children 17 and under.
