NORMAN, Okla. - Two athletes from Southern Methodist, weight throwers
Libor Charfreitag and Florence Ezeh, beat NCAA qualifying standards and set
facility records in the process during the All Comers Meet at the Mosier
Indoor Facility. The meet, hosted by the University of Oklahoma, produced
four NCAA provisional marks and six facility records. Charfreitag broke his
own facility mark set last year while Ezeh broke a record set in 1998.
Other facility records were set by OU's Michael Blackwood in the 600-yard run, Sonia Williams of the Barton Track Club in the 60-meter dash, Tre Gardner of Baylor, also in the 60 meters, and Randy Lewis of Wichita State in the triple jump.
