The Sooners (16-14, 6-11 SEC) shot 62% from the field — their second-best performance of the season — to win for the third straight game and for the fifth time in seven outings. Missouri (20-10, 10-7) entered the day a winner in six of its previous eight contests.
Jones, a sixth-year player who is in his second year in Norman and who missed all of the 2024-25 campaign due to injury, went 5 for 5 from the field on the night and nailed a season-high-tying three 3-pointers. He added two steals and a block in 25 minutes, his most playing time in 11 games. His eight rebounds led all players.

Oklahoma jumped out to an 8-2 lead before Missouri responded with seven straight points. The Tigers' only advantage of the game lasted just 31 seconds, as Jones made the first of his triples to put OU back in front 11-9. A
Nijel Pack 3 and a Jones dunk quickly extended the margin to seven, and the Sooners later went up 30-18 after a
Kirill Elatontsev steal and Reid dunk.
OU led 35-26 at halftime after outscoring Missouri by 15 from 3-point range. The Sooners were 6 for 11 from deep in the opening 20 minutes while MU was 1 for 9. They also outscored the Tigers 12-5 off turnovers.
A pair of Davis free throws 12 seconds into the second half put OU up 10, and it led by double digits for all but 39 seconds the rest of the game. The Sooners, who shot 70% from the field and made another six treys on 11 attempts in the second half, pushed their lead to as many as 22 points (71-49) on a Reid 3-pointer with 5:45 remaining.
Missouri tried to make things interesting with a 15-4 run over the next 4:15, but Wague slammed the door with a dunk and three free throws for the game's final five points.

The Sooners held Missouri to 47% field-goal shooting for the game, the fourth straight opponent to shoot less than 50% after five of the previous six shot 50% or better.
Mark Mitchell led the Tigers with 17 points and five rebounds. He was 6 for 6 from the floor and 4 for 8 from the free throw line.
