WEEKEND REWIND
For the second time under head coach Aaron Mansfield, the Sooners opened the season with a 3-0 record at the Wildcat Classic in Abilene, Texas. The Sooners dropped just one set on the weekend, defeating Missouri State 3-1, followed by sweeps of Incarnate Word and Abilene Christian.

After dropping their first set to Missouri State, the Sooners rattled off nine straight set victories to go undefeated at the tournament. Graduate transfer Emoni Bush led the offense with 37 kills on the weekend on a .342 clip. Senior Alexis Shelton notched 31
kills and posted a .480 percentage in the weekend finale against Abilene Christian.

E-MONEY
Emoni Bush made a splash in her debut weekend with the Sooners, notching 37 kills, seven aces, 17 digs and 8.0 blocks across three matches. Bush hit .342 on the weekend, with two matches above .400, hitting .406 against Missouri State and .400 against Abilene Christian. Her four service aces against MSU were just one shy of the program record for aces in a match and she helped the Sooners to 10 aces on the day.

SET IT UP
Freshman Avaya Maga and sophomore Harper Hall split time at setter over the weekend with each recording double-digit assists in all three matches in their debut matches as Sooners. Maga tallied 20-plus assists in back-to-back matches with 26 and 22, respectively, against Missouri State and Incarnate Word to finish with 67 on the weekend. The freshman also added 22 digs on the weekend and a pair of service aces. Hall recorded a season-best 20 assists in the opener, followed by a 14-assist performance in the double-header. The transfer from UCSB notched 10 digs on the weekend and one ace.

ROAD WARRIORS
Non-conference play will see OU stepping away from Norman for six of its ten matches. The Sooners will start their 2025 campaign with five straight matches at road or neutral site venues. After opening weekend in Abilene, OU will head to Fayetteville, Ark., for two matches at the Wooo Pig Invitational. After a four-game home swing, the Sooners will wrap up non-conference play at Central Arkansas on Sept. 21.
