NASHVILLE — Oklahoma and Vanderbilt played a scoreless first half although the host Commodores pulled ahead with three scores in the second session as No. 24 OU (8-2-1, 1-2-0 SEC) dropped a 3-0 decision at Vanderbilt (7-2-1, 1-1-1 SEC) Sunday, Sept. 21.

The teams went into the half tied 0-0 with much of the play residing in the midfield. OU had arguably the best look on frame in the first half, although Vanderbilt keeper Sara Wojdelko made a save on
Naomi Clark's shot on goal.
The Commodores tallied the eventual game winner from Vivian Akyirem, who hooked the ball towards goal as it bounced into the back of the net. The Commodores added insurance scores in the 62nd and 83rd minute.
