OU 2, Florida 1
Oklahoma asserted itself on the offensive end and put up multiple good looks on frame in the first half, but to no avail as things remained tied at 0-0 through 45 minutes.
Hadley Murrell paced the way early, posting five shots on goal, including one off the crossbar and another on goal.
Kayla Keefer also got behind the Gator defense and texted UF keeper Jayden Emmanuel, but she was up for the task.
UF didn't put up a shot on goal in the first half, with
Caroline Duffy leaping in front of a beautiful cross into the box to prevent the Gators from having what would have been their best scoring opportunity early.
OU broke the stalemate just 22 seconds into the half. Keefer found
Alexis Washington who crossed a beautiful ball to
Juliette Rayo as she put the shot into the bottom right corner of the net for a 1-0 lead.
UF tied it up in the 64th minute off a set piece pass that found its way to Skye Barnes. Barnes gathered the pass and converted.
Oklahoma came up clutch in the 80th to win it.
Riley Brown played a ball onto Keefer who flicked it towards Dendis. Dendis gathered and slotted the shot into the upper-right corner of the goal.
