AUSTIN, Texas – The No. 4/12 Oklahoma track and field team wrapped up the second day of the 97th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays Saturday evening held at Mike A. Myers Stadium.
The women's 4x100-meter relay opened the meet with a win in heat one, clocking 45.11 to advance to finals Saturday at 1:34 p.m. CT.
Sophomore
Austin Kiser followed with a career-best 13.93 time in the men's 110-meter hurdles.
In the women's pole vault,
Tessani Foster secured a personal record with a 4.15m (13'7.25") clearance for fourth place. With this mark, she climbs to No. 8 in OU's all-time history books.
Maggie Mullings followed suit with a PR of her own in the women's shot put (Section B), registering 14.93m (48'11.75") for third in the field.
To close out the day, the throws group competed in several events. In the women's discus (Section A),
Nailea Fields earned a career-best toss of 55.88m (183'4.00") for sixth place, rising to No. 5 on OU's all-time performance list. With this mark, she also ranks No. 2 in the SEC and No. 6 in the NCAA West Region.
Chesni Scott followed in seventh with a 53.76m (176'4.00") toss.
On the men's side,
Henry Martin secured another PR in the men's javelin, recording 64.22m (210'8.00") for ninth place. He improves his position at No. 9 in Oklahoma's outdoor history books.
The Sooners open Saturday with the women's discus (Section B) at 10 a.m. CT. Live results can be found via
