NORMAN — No. 6/6 Oklahoma (2 to 1) continues a busy week Friday morning when it welcomes unbeaten North Alabama (3 to 0) to Lloyd Noble Center for the program's annual Field Trip Day. More than 8,500 elementary and middle school students are expected, an OU record, as the Sooners look to extend their Field Trip Day winning streak to seven.
Tipoff is set for 10:30 a.m. CT on SEC Network Plus with Chad McKee and Latricia Trammel on the call. Radio coverage will be available on the Sooner Sports Radio Network on 1520 AM with Brian Brinkley and Carolyn Baker, and in Spanish with Danny Gonzales on Los Sooners Radio on 1560 AM. Both streams are also live on the Varsity App.
The Sooners enter Friday fresh off a strong response on Wednesday, powering past Kansas City 89-61 behind a balanced effort from all 11 players. OU shot 55.4%, hit 10 3-pointers and held the Roos to 30.5% from the floor, highlighted by a breakout from freshman Aaliyah Chavez, who poured in 29 points.

SECN+ LIVE STATS GAME NOTES |
• Aaliyah Chavez made history in Wednesday night's win over Kansas City. The first-year standout scored a career-high 29 points on 9 of 13 shooting and became the first freshman nationally since at least 1999 to reach 29 points on 13 or fewer attempts with seven made threes, four rebounds, four assists and two blocks. Her seven three-pointers tied for the second most by an OU freshman, and her 29 points rank as the fourth most by a first-year Sooner.
• Over the last four seasons, Oklahoma has been dominant when defending and scoring at a high level. The Sooners are 59-2 under Jennie Baranczyk when holding opponents under 70 points, and 72-5 when scoring at least 80. When limited to fewer than 80 points, OU is 30-31 since 2021.
• Sahara Williams is off to a strong start, especially on the glass, leading OU with 11.3 rebounds per game after pulling down a career-high 14 against Belmont (Nov. 3) and 12 more at UCLA (Nov. 10). She became the first Sooner under 6'0" to record back-to-back double-digit rebounding games since Skylar Vann in January 2023, and is one of just seven SEC players averaging a double-double this season as she enters Friday at 10.3 points per game.
• A win on Friday would mark Oklahoma's seventh consecutive win on Field Trip Day. The Sooners set a program record with 122 points vs. Western Carolina in last year's FTD game.
• Dominant at home over the last five seasons, Oklahoma is 57-10 under Baranczyk at Lloyd Noble Center and an even more impressive 28-3 against non-conference opponents.
Oklahoma wraps up its four-game, six-day stretch on Sunday when it travels to Cullowhee, N.C., to face Western Carolina. The Sooners topped the Catamounts 122-56 last season in Norman. Sunday's matchup airs on ESPN+ and the Sooner Sports Radio Network and concludes a run that has covered nearly 4,500 miles with games in three time zones.
