MANHATTAN, Kan. – The Oklahoma volleyball team had its five-match win streak snapped Friday night, falling 25-23, 25-18, 25-23 to UC Santa Barbara at the K-State Invitational.

The Sooners (5-2) return to action against K-State on Sunday at 4 p.m. on ESPNU.

Alexis Shelton led the Sooners with her third double-double of the season, notching 11 kills and 10 digs while adding four blocks. Leah Wilton-LaBoy dished out 25 assists and added eight digs and two blocks. Kamille Gibson added eight kills, while the defense combined for 8.0 blocks.

The first set was a back-and-forth battle to the end. Down 23-22, a kill from Shelton tied the match before UCSB capitalized on a pair of Sooner errors to take the set, 25-23.
