Men's Hoops' 2024-25 SEC Opponents Revealed

May 13, 2024 | Men's Basketball

NORMAN – The Southeastern Conference (SEC) announced home and away conference opponents for the 2024-25 men's basketball season on Monday. Oklahoma will join the league on July 1, 2024.

The Sooners will host Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt at Lloyd Noble Center. OU will travel to Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss, Missouri, Texas and Texas A&M. Since the beginning of the 2018-19 campaign, Oklahoma is 13-2 against SEC competition. OU owns a combined 241-194 record against its future 15 SEC foes.

Conference play tips off on Saturday, Jan. 4 and concludes on Saturday, March 8. Each team will play the other 15 teams at least once during league play. The SEC Tournament will be held in Nashville, Tenn., at Bridgestone Arena March 12-16, 2025.

Per the SEC, the continuation and renewal of historic rivalries was a point of emphasis when creating the schedule as the conference welcomes Oklahoma and Texas as new members in 2024-25. Additionally, preexisting home-and-away rotations for single-play opponents were preserved.

Times, dates and television information will be announced at a later date.
