ARDMORE, Okla. – Oklahoma women's golf finished The Bruzzy on Sunday at Dornick Hills Country Club, tying for fifth (35-over, 875).
Junior
Reagan Chaney entered the final 18 tied for first and finished the two-day tournament tied for fourth (2-over, 212), shooting a 5-over 75 to conclude the event. Chaney tallied three bogeys in her first four holes and responded with back-to-back birdies on the sixth and seventh holes. The Ardmore, Okla., product fired a 1-over 35 on the front nine and finished the back nine 4-over 40.
Sophomore
Gracie Mayo tied for 27th (12-over, 222) and recorded the best round by a Sooner on Sunday, finishing 2-over 72. Mayo opened the final round with a bogey on the sixth and eighth holes before her first birdie on the 11th hole. She suffered a one-stroke setback on the 15th and 18th holes, wrapping up the back nine 1-over 37. Mayo concluded the round with three pars and a birdie on the par-4 third hole.
Senior
Nina Lang tied for 35th (13-over, 223), recording rounds of 72-77-74. Lang recorded her lone birdie of the round on the seventh hole.
Sophomores
Savannah Barber and
Isabelle Schlick finished 39th (14-over, 224) and tied for 48th (7-over, 77), respectively. Schlick shot 7-over 77 and recorded two birdies on the sixth and seventh holes. Barber finished 8-over 78 with two birdies.
Freshman
Holly McLean competed as an individual and tied for 54th (20-over, 230).
