KANSAS CITY, Mo. – -/RV Oklahoma men's basketball dropped its 2024 Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship second-round contest to TCU 77-70 at T-Mobile Center on Wednesday afternoon.
Down 71-55 after a pair of made free throws by Jameer Nelson Jr. with 5:08 remaining, Oklahoma rallied to cut the deficit to single digits.

Jalon Moore buried two free throws and senior
Sam Godwin capped the spurt with a layup. The Horned Frogs pushed their advantage back to 12 with two free throws before back-to-back layups by sophomores
Otega Oweh and
Milos Uzan.
TCU again visited the charity stripe, making two and extending its advantage to 75-63 with 2:10 remaining.
The sophomore duo again went on the attack. Uzan banged home a 3-pointer before Oweh cut the TCU lead to seven with a jumper.
TCU's Nelson Jr. and Oweh traded free throws for the final points of the contest. The Horned Frogs did not make a field goal for the final 6:45.
The Horned Frogs raced out to a 12-point advantage over the first six minutes of the first half and entered the break up 45-31. TCU's Micah Peavy buried a half-court 3-pointer at the buzzer.
Moore nearly recorded his fourth double-double of the season, finishing with 16 points and a team-high nine rebounds. Oweh tallied 16 points on 6-for-9 shooting and added four rebounds and three steals. Uzan added 15 points, three steals and dished out a team-best four assists. Senior
Le'Tre Darthard buried a team-high three 3-pointers and added 12 points.
