• Oklahoma opens its 2024-25 season on Monday, Nov. 4 at 8 p.m. against Lindenwood at Lloyd Noble Center. The season opener marks the first meeting between the two programs.

Sam Godwin return as starters from last season's 20-win team. Moore earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention accolades, averaging 11.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, 0.6 steals and 0.5 assists per outing in 31 starts. Godwin started 31 games in 2023-24 and shot 59.8% from the field (75-126), ranking seventh in program history for single-season field goal percentage.

• Oklahoma head men's basketball coach
Porter Moser is in his fourth season leading the program. Moser guided Oklahoma to a 20-12 record and an 8-10 mark in OU's final season in the Big 12. The 2023-24 squad was the first team to reach 20 regular season wins for the first time since the 2016 Final Four team. Despite the team's success last season, it was not selected to the NCAA Tournament, becoming one of the first two teams out per the selection committee in two of the previous three seasons.
• The 2024-25 season marks the 50th season of men's basketball at Lloyd Noble Center. The Sooners played their first contest on Dec. 1, 1975 against Texas. OU earned its first victory in the venue on Jan. 31, 1976, beating Oklahoma State 57-42.
• OU embarks on its inaugural season in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) in 2024-25 after 28 years in the Big 12, amassing a 258-214 (.548) mark in conference competition.

• The Southeastern Conference (SEC) has nine teams selected to the AP Top-25 preseason poll. OU will play No. 2 Alabama, No. 11 Auburn, No. 12 Tennessee, No. 13 Texas A&M, No. 16 Arkansas, No. 19 Texas, No. 21 Florida, No. 23 Kentucky and No. 24 Ole Miss in 2024-25. In addition, Mississippi State is receiving votes.

• Oklahoma was selected 15th out of 16 teams by the media in the 2024-25 SEC Preseason Poll. The Sooners were chosen ahead of Vanderbilt.
NO PLACE LIKE HOME
• Oklahoma has a 78-29 record at Lloyd Noble Center since 2017, including a 14-4 mark in 2023-24. The Sooners have won 82.7% (611-129) of their games at LNC since the building opened in 1975.
• The 2024-25 campaign marks the 50th season of men's basketball at Lloyd Noble Center. The venue opened before the 1975-76 season and OU played its first game on Dec. 1, 1975 against Texas. The Sooners earned their first victory at LNC on Jan. 31, 1976, beating Oklahoma State 57-42.

• Oklahoma finished the 2023-24 campaign ranked in the top 75 in six NCAA DI categories. OU was 13th in three-point percentage defense (29.9%), 61st in free throws made per game (15.7), 66th in rebound margin (3.7), 69th in effective field goal percentage (53.1%), 70th in field goal percentage (46.5%) and 72nd in scoring margin (6.6).

Kobe Elvis played against Lindenwood during the 2022-23 campaign. Elvis started and played 28 minutes, tallying 10 points on 5-for-10 shooting and adding seven rebounds and five assists.
