Looking to stay in the race for its first Big 12 championship since 2009, No. 16/13 Oklahoma heads to the Little Apple for a nationally-televised showdown with Kansas State on Sunday at 1 p.m. The Sooners (19-4, 9-3 Big 12) will look to make it four straight wins when they take on the Wildcats (14-10, 3-8 Big 12) at Bramlage Coliseum.
The Sooners enter the weekend one game back of No. 20 Texas (19-6, 10-2 Big 12) in the conference's title race with the Longhorns hosting TCU in Austin on Saturday. The game will air on ESPNU with Brenda VanLengen and Holly Warlick with Brian Brinkley providing play-by-play on the Sooner Radio Network.

- The Sooners have the country's No. 2 scoring offense, pouring in 87.0 points per game powered by a NCAA-leading 21.0 assists per game. The Sooners have four players that score in double figures, led by Madi Williams' 16.2 points per game. The Sooners have scored at least 88 points 14 times this season, and have scored 90+ in a program record three straight Big 12 games.
- With a start in her home state of Kansas on Sunday, Taylor Robertson will break the tie with Danielle Robinson for the most starts in program history. The Oklahoma starting lineup has combined for 477 career starts.
- The Sooners have scored at least 90 points in an NCAA-best 11 games this season, seven of which have come vs. Power Five opponents (six in Big 12 play). The team's 11 games of 90 points are the most for an OU team since at least 2009, besting last year's squad that hit 90 points 10 times. Under Baranczyk, the Sooners are 20-1 when scoring 90 and have won 19 straight when crossing the 90-point threshold.
- Oklahoma already has seven wins over teams that made the 2022 NCAA Tournament, dispatching BYU (11/15), UT Arlington (11/20), Ole Miss (12/4), Florida (12/21), Iowa State (1/8), Kansas (1/14) and Baylor (2/7/23). The Sooners have the best winning percentage vs. top-100 NET teams in the Big 12 at 10-4 (.714). OU is 16-0 under Baranczyk vs. teams outside of the NET's top 100, and 9-0 this season. Oklahoma's 10 wins vs. top-100 teams are the 17th most in the country.
- The Sooners are no strangers to winning close games - they're 7-0 in games decided by one possession under Baranczyk, winning on a last-second shot four times. In contests decided by single digits, Oklahoma is 16-3 since the start of the 2021-22 campaign and the Sooners haven't lost a game decided by five points or less since Nov. 20, 2021, vs. No. 9 Oregon.
SERIES HISTORY
Sunday afternoon marks the 74th all-time meeting between Oklahoma and Kansas State. The series dates back to 1976 and has been dominated by the Sooners who are 28-10 vs. the Cats since 1998. Sunday's game marks the first meeting between the teams in 2022-23. OU and K-State split the 2022-23 season series, with the home team winning each contest.

Kansas State (14-10, 3-8) has lost seven of its last nine games, but one of its wins came over then-No. 12 Iowa State in Manhattan. The Wildcats, led by former Sooner
Gabby Gregory (19.5 PPG), also have a victory over No. 5 Iowa. One of the nation's best free throw shooting teams, the 'Cats get to the line over 20 times per game and shoot 78.6% from the line, 11th best in the country.

Taylor Robertson with 14.3 left in regulation pushed the game into overtime. In the extra frame, No. 16 Oklahoma pulled away from Baylor to win 98-92 and become the first Big 12 team to win back-to-back games in Waco since 2009-10.
