Six Sooner Soccer Players Earn Academic All-District Honors

NORMAN – Six University of Oklahoma soccer student-athletes have earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors as announced by the organization Tuesday.
 
Sophomore defender Cassie Clifton (marketing major), senior midfielder Cailey England (biology), sophomore defender Muriel Kroflin (economics), sophomore forward Hadley Murrell (marketing) sophomore forward Alexis Washington (biology) and junior forward Leonie Weber (microbiology) represent the Sooners on the Academic All-District Team.
 
The 2023 Academic All-District Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. A select number of All-District honorees will advance to the Academic All-America national ballot.
