Matchups Set for Annual Crimson & Cream Dual

NORMAN — The Oklahoma wrestling team is set to hold its annual Crimson & Cream Dual at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1 inside McCasland Field House. Admission to the event is free.
The scrimmage will feature 13 bouts, and the Sooners will be split into two teams.
The Sooners, ranked No. 13 in the Intermat Preseason Dual Meet Poll, return six NCAA qualifiers from last season in redshirt seniors Carson Berryhill and Josh Heindselman, senior Mosha Schwartz, and juniors Jared Hill, Gerrit Nijenhuis and Tate Picklo.
In the offseason, new head coach Roger Kish added 13 newcomers to the roster, including one of the top seniors in the transfer portal in Stephen Buchanan. Buchanan, a two-time All-American and three-time national qualifier at Wyoming, will look to become Oklahoma's first national champion since Cody Brewer in 2015.
Following Wednesday's intrasquad, Oklahoma will head north to begin its season on Thursday, Nov. 9 at Central Michigan followed by a short trip to East Lansing, Mich., to compete in the Michigan State Open on Saturday, Nov. 11. The Sooners return home on Nov. 19 to take on North Dakota State at 12 p.m. inside McCasland Field House.
Season ticket packages, which include tickets to each of OU's home duals, are available now online or by calling the ticket office at (405) 325-2424 or toll-free at (800) 456-GoOU.
