Soccer Faces BYU Monday in Big 12 Quarterfinal

The Sooners are the tournament's No. 10 seed and knocked off in-state rival (7) Oklahoma State, 1-0, on Saturday night. The winner of Monday's match will advance to Wednesday's semifinal and face the victor of the (3) TCU vs. (6) UCF match. Only 10 of the league's 14 teams qualified for the tournament.

SEASON STORYLINES
• Looking to Make History: The Sooners are 6-15 all-time at the Big 12 tournament and advanced to the semifinal last season. OU would be the first 10 seed in league history to make the semifinal. The Sooners' last appearance in the Big 12 championship final was 2014.
• Hunting Top-10 Ws: In order for the Sooners to advance, they would need to knock off a top-10 opponent for the first time in nearly a decade, as OU's last top-10 win came in a 1-0 win at No. 10 Texas Tech in 2014. The Sooners haven't made the BIg 12 semifinal
• Goal Fest: The Sooners have 34 goals on the season, tied with last year's team for fifth in program history. The school record is 37 (2005, 2010).
Emma Hawkins has a team-high nine goals this season and enters Monday night with 49 career goals.
UP NEXT
A victory on Monday would punch OU's ticket to its second consecutive Big 12 semifinal. The Sooners would take on the winner of the TCU vs. UCF match on Wednesday at 7 p.m. CT in Round Rock.
