Soccer's Brown Named to All-Southeast Region Team

10th All-Region Pick in Program History
NORMAN — Oklahoma senior defender Riley Brown was selected to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Women's All-Southeast Region Team as announced Tuesday, Dec. 2. The southeast region features teams and players from the Southeastern Conference (SEC), Sun Belt, Big South and SoCon.
Brown is the 10th all-region pick in program history. Teammate Alexis Washington was also honored on the list last season.
A senior out of Tucson, Ariz., Brown was a steady enforcer on the OU backline, starting all 19 matches. She paced all outfielders with 1,661 minutes, playing in the entire game on 11 instances.
She also chipped in with an assist in OU's 2-1 win against Florida and was named SEC All-Third Team.
