Sooners Dominate Paris All-Stars 91-53

Sooners Swept Its Foreign Tour Games
PARIS – The Oklahoma men's basketball team completed its three-game foreign tour with a 91-53 victory over the Paris All-Stars Tuesday Night at Gymnase Léo Lagrange.
Joe Bamisile and C.J. Noland led the Sooners with 16 points each and Bijan Cortes pitched in 13 points and a team-high seven assists. Noland finished the night 6-for-7 from the field and buried five 3-pointers. Cortes shot 6-for-7 from the floor and tallied four threes. Tanner Groves led OU on the boards, grabbing a team-high five rebounds.
The Sooners and Paris All-Stars battled back-and-forth to open the contest. Oklahoma started to find its rhythm late in the first quarter and pushed its lead to 21 points (36-15) after a quick seven-point spurt in the second quarter.
OU entered halftime with a 38-25 advantage after PSA narrowed the gap late in the second frame.
After a quick intermission, the Sooners came out firing on all cylinders. OU again regained momentum and quickly pushed its lead back to 20-plus points.
Oklahoma entered the final 10 minutes with a 25-point advantage (60-35).
The Sooners, who scored 38 points in the first half, nearly matched their total in the fourth quarter. OU continued to clamp down on defense and found its shooting stroke from deep. Oklahoma finished the fourth quarter with 31 points.
The Sooners scored 97 points per contest compared to 55 by their opponents in the three foreign tour games.
Oklahoma will remain in Paris for the two additional days before flying back home Friday, August 12.
